Cycle Border to Border Across Swaziland
To Help the Orphans of AIDS.
Swazi Cycle VII
May 18 - May 30, 2017
Come join a trip like no other.
In 2016, Swazi Cycle V riders crossed the entire kingdom of Swaziland from east to west. Here's what one cyclist said of her adventure:
"When I describe the trip to people I use a thousand different words including:
rewarding, challenging, adrenaline pumping, hysterically funny, inspiring,
but the word that sums it all up for me is "fun."
This year, we'll explore a new route -- crossing the from west to east.
As you ride, you'll experience Africa in a close-up way that few are privileged to see. And you'll be doing it for a good cause: To help Young Heroes reach our goal of raising $100,000 to support orphan families with monthly stipends, medical care and vocational training.
Not a cyclist? No problem - we want you to join us, too. While the bikers are off riding, you'll be visiting rural communities with our staff and volunteers to take part in our projects and meet our families.
At night, you'll join up to share your day's stories. And at the end of the ride there are more adventures in store, including a safari in South Africa's Hluhluwe National Park and VIP tickets to the incomparable MTN Bushfire Festival, which brings together the best in music, theater, dance and art from Africa and beyond.
"After some reflection, I still think this was probably the best trip I have ever been
on in my entire life. And I have traveled globally EXTENSIVELY."
